What kit do you need and is it included?

We only offer packages with a kit included for in-person training days.  All courses come with a full kit breakdown to allow you to see what tools you would require, depending on the method you are studying and looking to qualify in. This allows us to keep the online courses competitively priced and for students to use our checklist and Amazon Storefront to select what they need, and within their budget. Some items are essential to get started, which are grouped into bundles by each method, and then you will find some of Laura's recommended hair care products and accessories that can be useful to hair extensionists. Our courses are varied and attract some students already working in the industry / studied with a previous education provider; therefore, they may have parts of the kit and would be an unnecessary duplication of tools, so we decided to offer the option to allow students to buy their own kit from our Amazon Storefront to make the process of getting started more affordable. Where are the training days delivered?

Our in-person training sessions/masterclasses are delivered in our training centre in Glasgow, a 15-minute drive from Glasgow City Centre.  CocoBella Training Academy -  New Albion Industrial Estate, Halley Street, Yoker, Glasgow G13 4DJ Driving – Accessible via Dumbarton Road. Use our (above) postcode for your Sat Nav. Free street parking is available directly outside the S&B Safe Storage Units. By Train –  We are a 12-minute walk from Yoker Train Station.

Can I pay in installments/spread the cost?

Yes, you can choose to pay in 30 days or 3 instalments using Klarna. You can select your preferred payment option at the checkout.

Are the courses you deliver accredited?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We are proud that our hair extension courses are accredited by ABT as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards in providing education.   All our certificates are embossed with the statement – ‘Accredited to the Highest Standard of Competence’. We have vocational training courses such as business, and marketing which don't require industry accreditation. Send us a message if you have any questions about accreditation.

Question 5

Are the Hair Extension courses insurable for non-hairdressers?

Yes, we teach you everything you need to know to start working as a hair extensionist on completion and our certificates will allow you to obtain industry-standard insurance. This is covered in more detail in our course material and all our students receive a 10% discount from ABT. (Discount offered subject to change and at ABT's discretion)

Question 6

How long do you have to complete the course?

The online learning platform comes with lifetime access . We want you to be able to look back and refresh your knowledge at any point in your new career. We set a time limit of 6 months for you to complete the online theory and practical training session to encourage you to schedule the time to complete the work and earn your qualification. If for any reason you can’t complete the practical element within 6 months, reach out to us and we’ll support you.

What happens if I don’t pass the online assessment?

If you have any problems with the exam, we are here to offer support and help.We don’t put a number on the number of resits as every person takes information onboard differently. We can help you identify areas you might be struggling with and provide further support to help with that particular area of the course. Our student Facebook group provides a platform for students to share new ideas, best practices or general peer-to-peer support in addition to tutor support.  PLEASE NOTE – If you have any additional learning needs, we ask for this information during the course registration online form. We do this so we can make sure the support you require is provided and this information is treated with confidence.

Are the courses online or in-person?

This course is exclusively online to allow you to study at home, at your own pace and more affordable option although we offer three different learning methods at CocoBella Training Academy: 🖤 In-Person Courses - All our in-person courses are a blend of in-person practical and online. We grant instant access to our online modules to allow you to study ahead of the live training session. This will provide you more time to take in all the theoretical content and maximise the time with your tutor for practical elements of the skills. 🖤 Online Courses - Our online courses offer lifetime access to our online learning portal with comprehensive video modules, templates and tools as standard.  🖤 Masterclasses - The masterclasses will be a mix of online or in-person, group or 1-2-1. The masterclasses will consist of marketing, business, social media and systems to grow your business. All of our courses have been built to allow students to learn at home at their own pace with the online element before attending the live practical training days. Everyone learns at their own pace and we wanted students to be able to get as much hands-on practical experience during live days. The online modules are designed to help you feel ready to get hands-on right away by equipping you with so much knowledge before your live training sessions with your tutor.
