Our Online Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET) has been designed for hair and beauty professionals who want to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to begin teaching and training others.
Delivered online, the course takes you through the key principles of education and training, from understanding your role and responsibilities as an educator to inclusive teaching, assessment and the planning and delivery of your own micro-teach lesson.
COURSE UNITS
Unit 1: Roles, Responsibilities, and Relationships in Education and Training
Explore the role and responsibilities of a trainer, professional boundaries and the importance of establishing effective relationships within education and training.
Unit 2: Using and Delivering Inclusive Learning and Teaching Approaches in Lifelong Learning
Develop your understanding of different learning and teaching approaches and how to create an inclusive environment that supports individual learner needs.
Unit 3: Understanding Assessment in Education and Training
Understand the principles and requirements of assessment, different assessment methods and the importance of constructive feedback and accurate record-keeping.
Unit 4: Micro-Teach
Put your learning into practice by planning, preparing and delivering your own micro-teach lesson, which is submitted as part of your final assessment.
